Digital Energy Management

Emerging intelligent efficiency technologies like digital energy monitoring and control equipment will play a catalytic role in the transition to integrated local and regional energy management concepts that aim to connect different energy distribution networks, water and transport processes in a way that they can convey and use primarily energy made available by solar and wind power installations.

The deployment of advanced digital metering, analyzing and automated control hard- and software components coupled with distributed renewable energy generation and controllable loads makes local balancing of supply and demand widely available and affordable.

Corresponding microgrid solutions can be applied on different scales in both behind-the-meter and in-front-of-the-meter configurations and use cases. Typical drivers are combinations of reliability, resilience, cost, power quality and social mandates.

Next Solar Concept and its partners have the necessary knowledge and experience to advise on the design and deployment of reliable system technologies, operational issues, its economic evaluation and supporting financial arrangements.
